At Rainbow Day Nursery, Effort, perseverance and achievements are encouraged and celebrated.
We provide a safe, homely environment and help them to feel secure and happy; ready to learn. Through a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (2025), we teach children around their interests and individual needs. We promote fundamental British Values and aim for our little ones to grow into confident, sociable and independent young citizens.

Enabling Environments
Rainbow Day Nursery believes that the most powerful learning resource is the ignition of a child’s own curiosity, imagination and natural desire to explore. Through our carefully planned enabling environments, rich in high-quality resources, engaging experiences and fun, meaningful activities, we provide children with the tools and confidence to investigate, discover and develop at their own pace. We encourage a love of learning by nurturing creativity, independence and critical thinking, allowing children to fully immerse themselves in the awe and wonder of the world around them while building strong foundations for their future development.
Excellent Staff
Our dedicated team of hand-picked practitioners are creative, caring and highly experienced, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to their roles. They understand when to gently support a child and when to step back, allowing crucial, natural discovery and independence to develop. At Rainbow Day Nursery, we are committed to promoting Continuous Professional Development and regularly engage our staff in training to ensure their knowledge remains current and reflective of best practice within the childcare sector. We aim for every member of staff to be fully qualified in Paediatric First Aid, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children, and giving parents complete peace of mind.
Competitive Fees
Our fees are extremely competitive, offering high quality childcare to our local community. We have discounted rates for children attending 4 or more unfunded days and for siblings. We also have limited places available for Early Starts (7.30am), as well as the possibility of wrap-around care with the primary school next door. Rainbow Day Nursery is registered with the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme and we accept funding for children aged 9 months, 2 years (Working Parents and Government Assisted), and 3/4 year olds. Please note there is an Additional Extras Package in place for funded sessions.
